Maths - Measurement
For Maths we have been studying Measurement this term. On Friday we buddy up with a friend and collaboratively work on activities from the Mathletics website.
We learnt unit of length using centimetres (cm). We used a string to measure our body parts and then laid the string beside the metre ruler to work out the correct measurement.
This week we have been learning about units of length (metres).
We learnt that they are 100 centimetres in a metre.
It was fun estimating and then measuring the length and width of objects in the classroom.
We also learnt how to convert cm to m and m to cm.
It was really cool maths lesson.
